Scholz set for Kyiv journey alongside Macron, Draghi: Report – POLITICO


BERLIN — German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will journey to Kyiv this month alongside French President Emmanuel Macron and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi, in line with tabloid Bild am Sonntag.

The journey to the Ukrainian capital is more likely to happen earlier than a summit of G7 leaders at Schloss Elmau within the Bavarian Alps scheduled to start out on June 26, in line with the report.

Whereas many world leaders have already made the journey to Kyiv, together with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Scholz has to this point not travelled there.
