MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo on Sunday expressed hope that her successor, Vice President-elect Sara Duterte-Carptio shall be persevering with the initiatives that her workplace had began.
Talking in her weekly radio program, Robredo additionally assured that her workplace is already holding transition conferences with Duterte-Carpio
“Sana … ‘yung mga nasimulan ay tuloy pa din. Nagkaroon na ng a number of na transition conferences. Okay naman,” she mentioned.
(I hope…these we began will proceed. There have already been a number of transition conferences. It turned out okay.)
“Okay naman ‘yung mga transition conferences. Receptive naman ‘yung staff na papasok,” she added.
(The transition conferences are okay. The incoming staff is receptive.)
She then defined that previous OVPs (Workplace of the Vice President) have had medical help applications, which is why she believes that the medical efforts her workplace started shall be continued by her successor.
(I feel to a big extent it would proceed. Perhaps the extra questionable are the non -institutional applications, as a result of we have now began many applications that aren’t actually a part of the OVP.)
(For instance this Angat Buhay, it isn’t a part of the OVP. Many applications, particularly through the pandemic, weren’t a part of the OVP however we carried out them once we have been there. I hope what occurs is that every one of it would institutionalized, in order that even when we’re gone, we’ll proceed)
In the meantime, relating to the Angat Buhay non-governmental group, Robredo mentioned it’s now presently being registered.
(When it’s registered, hopefully — we’d have that by July 1, the approval of our registration would have come out by then. However what we would like is for everybody to be on board. What we would like is that every little thing’s all set whilst we start.)
Angat Buhay goals to determine the widest volunteer community within the nation, serving to the marginalized and the weak.
Robredo positioned second within the 2022 presidential race with 15 million votes, trailing behind President-elect Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. who gained with 31 million votes.
